Dunure Inn: Something different

Dunure is a lovely little fishing village were you will find a nice quiet beach complete with its own castle ruins and plenty of rock pools for exploring. There is a small shop were you can pickup a few of the things you always forget to bring, handy when you realize the bucket and spade are at home.

If your hungry try the Dunure Inn were you will find great food and friendly staff.
One of their specialties and probably the only one of it’s kind in the west of Scotland is the great fish BBQ they put on in the summer, although we’ve been unlucky with our timing and have missed the BBQ, our friends have recommended we get to it when it’s back on. We have used the restaurant a few times now and it makes the idea place to take the family on a Sunday, they also have a nice outside seated smoking area and plenty of parking.
Visiting Dunure and particularly the Dunure Inn on a nice sunny day (weather permitting) is one of the best experiences Ayrshire offers.
