Smiths Bar and Restaurant

After eating and drinking my way around Ayr’s town centre the best place in town to both eat and drink is Smiths Bar and Restaurant on Dunblair Road.

The place has a friendly relaxed atmosphere were the staff are second to none and are always on hand.
The lounge/restaurant which can be booked for private functions, has a modern comfortable ambiance which would be ideal be any event that you’d need to organize.

The food is well prepared with a varied menu to suit every taste and very reasonably priced too the helpful staff also give a estimated waiting time.

There is also a very nice beer garden if you can brave the cold weather in the winter, but last time we were there they were installing patio heaters so that should help keep off the winter chills but will be ideal in the spring and summer times.

The bar is always stocked with a variety of forgein beers and special offers and is the only bar we know of in Ayr that stocks Peroni.
